starting fun [AIDEN]

Term was finally starting at Ilvermorny, and while Aphrodite was supposed to be excited, thrilled to be starting the term, she couldn't help but feel a bit grouchy. Even though she still had to work on plans for lessons throughout the year, she didn't actually have to encounter any of the students, deal with their whining and complaints about homework for even a moment. Sure, there were other professors who were a tad bit annoying ( well, maybe more than just a bit, some drove her insane ), though there weren't hundreds of students she constantly had to see since she taught a vital and core subject, charms.

The headmistress had decided to put her on the welcoming committee for new professors, though she found that to be a bit of a dumb choice, since at first look ( and the second and third and fourth, too ), she was a bit intimidating and came off as rather cold, too. The welcome wouldn't exactly be warm. All the house heads had to welcome, though she had to start even earlier than them, and was supposed to greet the new head of Pudwudgie. She didn't understand why someone so new would get a position like that, though didn't question it, knowing that the response to that from Clara, the headmistress, wouldn't be positive.

Seeing the man she assumed was the new professor of herbology come into the gates of Ilvermorny, she approached him, saying dryly, "Welcome. Enjoy your new job, if you can survive it." In reality, it wasn't that horrible, but it was always fun to scare the new professors.
