Éan, Today is one of my bad days. I literally spend most of the morning after breakfast laying in the backyard of the apartment building. Ugh. Even after five years, my bad days still make me wonder if I’m going crazy. Well, crazier, that is… No one else writes me over the summer, which doesn’t help, to be honest. Sometimes, I worry that I’m gonna wake up one day, and everything will just be… gone. Is that utterly insane? Who am I kidding – of course it’s completely nuts… We really ought to exchange cell numbers, one of these days, if you’re okay with that? If not, no worries; letters work fine, too.
Hoping you’re having a more fun summer than I am,
– Aoife.
((Éan = bird, Irish; a fitting nickname for Morrigan, I think. One that Aoife would definitely call her.))

My Dear Aofie,
I'm sorry. I just wish we had our wands, just another year; we need to keep telling ourselves that. Today was a typical day for me, just lounging around in my bedroom, cutting off contact from most everyone. I think my family is used to it by now. I'm sorry that I haven't been writing too much, there's simply not enough to write about since the summers are too boring. At least school is starting soon. I often wonder the same, how long will I be sane, and am I even? Oh, I don't think you're crazy, if you are, then I'm definitely worse. And exchanging numbers sounds good, after all, letters do take longer. I finally convinced by both totally wizard parents to get me one, and even if they think it's slightly ridiculous, I think it to be useful. I'll put it below so we can start texting. This is the twenty-first century, after all.
Best wishes and can't wait to see you, Morrigan
[ I think that's adorable :) I love the nickname ]
